4 weeks ago I completed the request for Liam’s passport. They told it me it took about 2 weeks to come, so I thought I had plenty of time. Last week I went to see if it had arrived and it had only just been sent off. Due to it being the Easter holidays here in France I was all in a panic and had Armelle (my sister in law) calling everyone we knew to see what would happen if it did not arrive in time. Basically to cut a long story short if it had not arrived by today I would have had to beg for an emergency one which I was not looking forward to, especially not in French.

So you can imagine how relieved I am today that Liam’s passport has arrived so we can leave for London tomorrow morning as planned… whew.

TIP: When planning a holiday check passports as soon as you have booked the tickets so you can get your request in asap.

Yesterday we bought a ‘big boy’s bed’ for Thomas. He wanted to sleep in Yohann’s room so we put the bed in there, but after about an hour and a half of shouting and jumping on the bed’s we moved Thomas back into his room. Yohann was very upset, but he got over it after a lot of screaming and shouting. Finally around 10:30 pm Thomas stopped coming out of his room and went to sleep.

He woke up at 5am this morning because he had lost his doudou (muzzy), but I think he woke up and was not sure where he was and panicked a bit. He did not go back to sleep, so you can imagine the mood he was in all day. He had his shlufti as normal, but was still knackerd tonight.

We said that the boys could try to sleep in the same room again tonight and we would see how it went, but Thomas did not want to. Again Yohann was very upset, but went to sllep before Thomas who finally went off at about 9 pm.

Hopefully he won’t wake up at silly o’clock in the morning tomorrow as Liam slept in until 7:40am so it would be nice to profit

Working on Arnaud’s site, but having a hard time pleasing him There are so many themes to choose from and they each have their problems, but we will get there. You can check it out here to see where we are at now and keep checking to see how we get on.

For those of you who don’t know Arnaud & I gave up smoking a few weeks ago (I decided not to count, but it is about 5 weeks or so) and in it’s place I have taken up cooking … lol.

I am better at making cakes and things, of course, but I am trying normal food dishes

Arnaud & I made meringues today (he loves them), they were lovely, but the weird thing was that they tasted just like Booba’s (my grandma). It was nice weird, but I never thought I would make something that tasted as good as her cooking.

We did however realise that our oven is very hot and they could have done with 5 mins less, but we know for next time.

It’s official, we are a large family … lol. We have just got a new car, well I have mainly as I will be using it during the week. It is a Renault Scenic, 5 seater, but it has three proper seats in the back so finally I don’t have to squash in the middle at the back anymore when we go out as a family and I can see the driver’s mirror now that Liam is in the back. It is an automatic, which I am used to now, but Arnaud came with me the first time I drove it, which was a mistake as I was stressed and kept going to change gear.

Arnaud thinks it smells like the dog of the old owners so he bought a lemon smelling tree to hang in it, but I am not sure which smell is worse … lol.

Yohann is so happy as he is now sitting in the middle and can see the road. He is also keeping an eye on Liam although I think he keeps trying to hold Liam’s hand. It is very cute, but he can be a bit heavy handed and Liam is only little. The cutest thing about Yohann is that he keeps thanking Arnaud and I for buying him a new car … altogether now … aaaaahhhhhhh.

While working with someone a while ago I heavily modified a wordpress theme to create niche themes, which we sold. This was by far the bit I enjoyed the most about working online. Learning new stuff … lol. Anyone who knows me knows I can get easily distracted, but I am now going to attempt to create a theme of my own from scratch, which me luck.

So, now you know, Wordpress is my newest interest. I wrote a post on my business blog, which you can read here, should you be interested in the new Wordpress release, 2.5.

I hope all of you that have to return to work on Monday have an enjoyable and relaxing Sunday. I personally am looking forward to Monday when Yohann goes to school and Thomas to the creche as the weekends are a very busy time for me. the rest of the weekend to all

This will be Liam’s first trip to London to meet friends and family, except those passing Pesach abroad.

Arnaud will also be joining us this visit

Yohann & Thomas are so excited, although I think Yohann is more excited about going on the aeroplane. He does love looking out the window.
